Please be aware that your child will have homework each night. It is given to the children as a weekly worksheet. It will be pasted in their h/w books on a monday and is due on a friday.
This will consist (usually unless stated) of reading log, spelling, maths and other tasks.
Please ensure that your child does this each night and that you support them in feeling good about their learning rather than making something that 'squashes' self esteem.
Children have a fluency box of books set at their level and are encouraged to take one home; however, they can read a book from home as an alternative.
